  1. Uttar Pradesh Government has launched ‘Mitra Van’ under Vriksharopan Jan Abhiyan-2024. It aims to plant 35 crores of saplings along the UP-Nepal Border.
  2. Tata Power Solar Systems has launched the ‘Ghar Ghar Solar’ project in Varanasi Uttar Pradesh. This project aims to install rooftop solar systems on 10 Lacs homes.
  3. Recently IUCN released a report “Planet on the Move: Reimagining Conservation”. This report focuses on the need for a new conservation approach amidst migration, environmental change, and conflict. The report is a discussion document with a call to action. Its goal is to stimulate thinking, policy, and funding for innovative programs and solutions around the expected increases in human and wild species migration and displacement in light of environmental change and conflict. The report identifies several solutions and approaches available to actors in how they might perceive and frame migration events.
